Preparations for this kayaking sojourn along the Bherwerre Peninsula, about 150 kms south of Sydney, took place within the sandstone walls of the Lord Nelson Hotel - where most of our previous kayak journeys have also been born.
'Booderee' is an Aboriginal word from the Dhurga language meaning 'bay of plenty' or 'plenty of fish'. It is a name that is very appropriately given to the National Park which occupies 85% of the Bherwerre Peninsula, Jervis Bay.
